United Divers Wollongong
United Divers is Wollongong’s original dive center, established in 1976. Our charter boat operates every weekend and on weekdays by arrangement. Our itinerary includes the spectacular Five Islands off Wollongong as well as reefs to the north and several wreck dives, the most popular being the wreck of the Bombo. The shop is centrally located and within minutes of Wollongong Harbor where the boat departs at regular intervals.
Being a PADI training facility, we offer a full range of Diving courses from “Discover Scuba” to Dive master and a wide range of specialty courses, especially exciting is the new PADI Enriched Air program ( See our current course schedule ).
Haven’t been diving for a while?
Haven’t been diving for a while? – Join one of our organized shore dives and you will get to dive a great new dive site with one of our experienced instructors. All this whilst meeting new dive buddies and having lots of fun! We also conduct refresher courses on a regular basis both for individuals and groups.
United Divers stocks a full range of snorkeling and scuba equipment, as well as wetsuits, wetsuit accessories and “after dive” clothing. ( See our Oceanic page for the latest Oceanic packages ).
United Divers has been a registered Hydrostatic Test Station since 1984 and is able to test all types of cylinders. Our current hydro prices are $40 per cylinder which includes your air fill. We have been servicing all types of diving equipment for over 25 years. All equipment is serviced on the premises at very competitive rates.
Air fills, Nitrox fills and an excellent range of hire equipment are also available.

It is with some sadness that we have decided to wind up United Divers in it’s 47th year of operation. We have enjoyed everyone’s friendship and support over many long years and we will miss being part of the professional diving community but it’s time to move on with the next stage of our lives & we look foreward to having more time to dive with everyone!
Our amazing instructors and divemasters are like family to us and we could not have survived in business without their fabulous effort. I hope we have lots of students out there who enjoyed their courses with us and now share an enduring love of the amazing ocean and all that is in it

Going foreward we are still planning to organise some group dives and travel and a small equipment sevicing operation so we will keep in touch.
